Serie A (Week 20) : Samp and Palermo tied at 1-1
ITALY, Jan. 25, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 20: Sampdoria was held to a 1-1 draw by Palermo on Sunday.
Sampdoria players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Brazilian forward Eder in the 6th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Palermo with a saving goal from Argentine midfielder Franco Vázquez in the 49th minute.
UC Sampdoria remains in fourth place with 34 points from 20 games, tie on points with Lazio.
