Two goals for both sides in the first half, Paloschi ('9) and Pellissier ('40 on penalty) for Chievo, Gomez ('20) and Toni ('26) for Hellas Verona and none in the second.
AC Chievo Verona climbed to 12nd place with 42 points from 35 games, only one point behind Palermo, which has a game in hand.
