MENDOZA, Jun. 21, 1978 (AMP) — Argentina 78 : Brazil defeated Poland by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a World Cup second round game on Wednesday afternoon at the Estadio Ciudad de Mendoza.
Roberto Dinamite scored dual goals
Brazilian defender Nelinho opened the score in the 13th minute, before seeing Poland catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Grzegorz Lato. 1-1 at half time. The Brazilians eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Dinamite ('58, '63).
