All the action happened in the first half, with Senegalese midfielder Papa Bouba Diop goal in the 30th minute.
The result put the Senegalese top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Senegal will meet Denmark at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on June 6, while France will face Uruguay.
