BERLIN, Jun. 23, 2006 (AMP) — Germany 2006 : Ukraine defeated Tunisia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Friday afternoon at the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
Tunisia made the Ukrainians doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Ukrainian forward Andriy Shevchenko on penalty in the 70th minute.
