POLOKWANE, Jun. 22, 2010 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 : Argentina defeated Greece by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Tuesday night at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
45 minutes of play and neither the Argentines nor the Greeks have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Demichelis ('77) and Palermo ('89).
