RUSTENBURG, Jun. 19, 2010 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 : Ghana tied 1-1 with Australia (halftime: 1-1), in a World Cup group stage game on Saturday afternoon at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg.
One goal for both sides in the first half, Gyan ('25 on penalty) for Ghana, Holman ('11) for Australia and none in the second.
The result put the Ghanaians top of Group D with 4 points. Australia is bottom with one point. In their last game, Ghana will meet second-placed Germany at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on June 23, while Australia will face Serbia.
