JOHANNESBURG, Jun. 23, 2010 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 : Germany defeated Ghana by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Wednesday night at Soccer City in Johannesburg.
Ghana made the Germans doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by German midfielder Mesut Özil in the 60th minute.
