PORT ELIZABETH, Jun. 21, 2010 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 : Chile defeated Switzerland by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Monday afternoon at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth.
45 minutes of play and neither the Chilians nor the Swisss have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Chilian forward Mark González in the 75th minute.
