PRETORIA, Jun. 25, 2010 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 : Spain defeated Chile by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Friday night at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
Spain dominated the first half thanks to goals from Villa ('24) and Iniesta ('37). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Spaniards further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
