MOSCOW, Jun. 20, 2018 (AMP) — Russia 2018 : Portugal defeated Morocco by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Wednesday afternoon at the Luzhniki Olympic Stadium in Moscow.
All the action happened in the first half, with Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo goal in the 4th minute.
The result put the Portuguese top of Group B with 4 points. Morocco is bottom with no points. In their last game, Portugal will meet second-placed Iran at the Luzhniki Olympic Stadium on June 25, while Morocco will face Spain.
