MOSCOW, Jun. 16, 2018 (AMP) — Russia 2018 : Argentina tied 1-1 with Iceland (halftime: 1-1), in a World Cup group stage game on Saturday afternoon at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow.
One goal for both sides in the first half, Agüero ('19) for Argentina, Finnbogason ('23) for Iceland and none in the second.
The result left both teams on top of Group D with one point. In their next game, Iceland will meet Nigeria at the Spartak Stadium on June 22, while Argentina will face Croatia.
