VOLGOGRAD, Jun. 22, 2018 (AMP) — Russia 2018 : Nigeria defeated Iceland by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Friday night at the Volgograd Arena.
Musa scored dual goals
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with two goals by Musa at '49 and '75.
The result put the Nigerians second in Group D with 3 points. Iceland is third with one point. In their last game, Nigeria will meet Argentina at the Volgograd Arena on June 26, while Iceland will face Croatia.
