SOCHI, Jun. 18, 2018 (AMP) — Russia 2018 : Belgium defeated Panama by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Monday night at the Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi.
Romelu Lukaku scored dual goals
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Mertens ('47) and Lukaku ('69, '75).
The result put the Belgians top of Group G with 3 points. In their next game, Belgium will meet Tunisia at the Fisht Olympic Stadium on June 23, while Panama will face England.
