MOSCOW, Jun. 23, 2018 (AMP) — Russia 2018 : Belgium defeated Tunisia by a score of 5-2 (halftime: 3-1), in a World Cup group stage game on Saturday afternoon at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow.
Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku scored dual goals
Belgium dominated the first half thanks to goals from Hazard ('6 on penalty) and Lukaku ('16, '45). Leading 3-1 at the break, the Belgians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Hazard '51 and Batshuayi '90).
The result put the Belgians top of Group G with 6 points. Tunisia is bottom with no points. In their last game, Belgium will meet second-placed England at the Spartak Stadium on June 28, while Tunisia will face Panama.
