ENGLAND, Apr. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 42: Four wins in a row for Brighton & Hove Albion. After their success against Blackburn Rovers, Birmingham City and QPR, the Seagulls continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers this Friday.
Anthony Knockaert scored dual goals
Brighton & Hove Albion dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French midfielder Anthony Knockaert in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Seagulls further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Knockaert with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Brighton and Hove Albion FC remains in first place with 89 points from 42 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Newcastle United, which has a game in hand.
