FORTALEZA, Jun. 23, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2013 : Spain defeated Nigeria by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Confederations Cup group stage game on Sunday afternoon at the Castelao Stadium in Fortaleza.
Jordi Alba scored dual goals
Spain dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Jordi Alba in the 3rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Spaniards further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Torres '62 and Alba '88).
