All the action happened in the first half, with Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo goal in the 8th minute.
The result put the Portuguese top of Group A with 4 points. Russia is second with 3 points. In their last game, Portugal will meet New Zealand at the Spartak Stadium on June 24, while Russia will face Mexico.
