SAN JUAN, Jul. 4, 2011 (AMP) — Argentina 2011 : Uruguay tied 1-1 with Peru (halftime: 1-1), in a Copa América group stage game on Monday night at the Estadio del Bicentenario in San Juan.

One goal for both sides in the first half, Suárez ('45) for Uruguay, Guerrero ('23) for Peru and none in the second.

The result left both teams on top of Group C with one point. In their next game, Peru will meet Mexico at the Estadio del Bicentenario on July 8, while Uruguay will face Chile.
