TAIPEI, Mar. 5, 2005 (AMP) — South Korea 2005 (Qualifiers) : Hong Kong defeated Mongolia by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a East Asian Cup group stage game (Preliminary Round) on Saturday afternoon at the Zhongshan Soccer Stadium in Taipei.
The result put Hong Kong second in the group with 3 points. In their next game, Hong Kong will meet Guam at the Zhongshan Soccer Stadium on March 7, while Mongolia will face North Korea.
