TAIPEI, Mar. 7, 2005 (AMP) — South Korea 2005 (Qualifiers) : Hong Kong defeated Guam by a big score of 15-0 (halftime: 12-0), in a East Asian Cup group stage game (Preliminary Round) on Monday afternoon at the Zhongshan Soccer Stadium in Taipei.
The result put Hong Kong top of the group with 6 points. Guam is bottom with no points. In their next game, Hong Kong will meet second-placed Taiwan at the Zhongshan Soccer Stadium on March 11, while Guam will face Mongolia.
