TAIPEI, Mar. 9, 2005 (AMP) — South Korea 2005 (Qualifiers) : Mongolia defeated Guam by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a East Asian Cup group stage game (Preliminary Round) on Wednesday afternoon at the Zhongshan Soccer Stadium in Taipei.
The result put the Mongol fourth in the group with 3 points. Guam is bottom with no points. In their last game, Mongolia will meet third-placed Taiwan at the Zhongshan Soccer Stadium on March 13, while Guam will face North Korea.
