HONIARA, May. 17, 2004 (AMP) — Australia 2004 (Qualifiers) : New Caledonia defeated the Cook islands by a big score of 8-0 (halftime: 6-0), in a OFC Nations Cup qualifying game on Monday afternoon at the Lawson Tama Stadium in Honiara.
The result put the New Caledonians second in Group 1 with 4 points. The Cook islands is bottom with no points. In their last game, New Caledonia will meet Tonga at the Lawson Tama Stadium on May 19.
