MIDDLESBROUGH, Jul. 19, 1966 (AMP) — England 66 : North Korea defeated Italy by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Tuesday night at Ayresome Park in Middlesbrough.

All the action happened in the first half, with Korean striker Pak Doo-Ik goal in the 42nd minute.

North Korea advance to the Quarterfinals. Italy is eliminated.
