LEóN, Jun. 6, 1970 (AMP) — Mexico 70 : Peru defeated Morocco by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Saturday afternoon at the Estadio León.
Teófilo Cubillas scored dual goals
45 minutes of play and neither the Peruvians nor the Moroccans have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Cubillas ('65, '75) and Challe ('67).
