SEVILLE, Jun. 23, 1982 (AMP) — Spain 82 : Brazil defeated New Zealand by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Wednesday night at the Estadio Benito Villamarín.
Zico scored dual goals
Brazil dominated the first half thanks to goals from Zico ('28, '31). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Brazilians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Falcão '55 and Serginho '69).
