TURIN, Jun. 20, 1990 (AMP) — Italy 90 : Brazil defeated Scotland by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Wednesday night at the Stadio delle Alpi in Turin.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Brazilian forward Müller with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
