PONTIAC, Jun. 18, 1994 (AMP) — USA 94 : The United States tied 1-1 with Switzerland (halftime: 1-1), in a World Cup group stage game on Saturday at the Silverdome in Pontiac.
One goal for both sides in the first half, Wynalda ('45) for the United States, Bregy ('39) for Switzerland and none in the second.
The result left both teams on top of Group A with one point. In their next game, Switzerland will meet Romania at the Silverdome on June 22, while the United States will face Colombia.
