SAITAMA, Jun. 6, 2002 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 : Cameroon defeated Saudi Arabia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Thursday night at the Saitama Stadium 2002 in Saitama.
Saudi Arabia made the Cameroonians doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Cameroonian forward Samuel Eto'o in the 66th minute.
