RECIFE, Jun. 26, 2014 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 : Germany defeated the United States by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Thursday afternoon at the Arena Pernambuco in Recife.
The United States made the Germans doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by German midfielder Thomas Müller in the 55th minute.
