MOSCOW, Jun. 27, 2018 (AMP) — Russia 2018 : Brazil defeated Serbia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Wednesday night at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow.
Brazil dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Paulinho in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Brazilians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Silva in the 68th minute.
