CHICAGO, Jun. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Centenario : Venezuela defeated Jamaica by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Copa América group stage game on Sunday afternoon at the Soldier Field in Chicago.
All the action happened in the first half, with Martínez goal in the 15th minute.
The result put the Venezuelans top of Group C with 3 points. In their next game, Venezuela will meet Uruguay at the Soldier Field on June 9, while Jamaica will face Mexico.
