SANTA CLARA, Jun. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Centenario : Uruguay defeated Jamaica by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Copa América group stage game on Monday night at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.
Uruguay dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Abel Hernández in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Uruguayans further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Watson '66/own and Corujo '88).
