La Liga (Week 19) : Espanyol beats Celta Vigo 1-0
SPAIN, Jan. 17, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 19: After losing 1-2 to Eibar on January 10 and 3-0 to Real Madrid on January 10, Los Periquitos bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Celta Vigo this Saturday.
Celta Vigo made Espanyol doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Ecuadorian forward Felipe Caicedo seconds before the end of regulation.
RCD Espanyol climbed to 9th place with 23 points from 19 games, 4 points behind SD Eibar.
