La Liga (Week 18) : Real Madrid beats Espanyol 3-0
SPAIN, Jan. 10, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 18: After losing 2-1 to Valencia on January 4, Los Blancos returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Espanyol this Saturday.
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Rodríguez ('12) and Bale ('28). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Nacho in the 77th minute.
Real Madrid remains in first place with 42 points from 17 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up FC Barcelona.
