ENGLAND, Apr. 1, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 40: Two wins in a row for Portsmouth. After their 2-1 win against Newport County on March 25, Pompey continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-0 victory over Hartlepool United this Saturday.
Portsmouth dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Naismith Kal in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Pompey further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Roberts Gary in the 60th minute.
Portsmouth FC remains in third place with 71 points from 40 games, 4 points behind Plymouth Argyle FC.
